BANGALORE: An exhibition of coins and currency notes that is said to be one of the largest such exhibition in the country will open in Bangalore this Friday.
Coins of ancient India, princely states, Mughal period, British India, ancient South Indian dynasties, gold and silver coins, currencies of various nations, freak notes and erroneously printed ones will also be on display and sale.

The Indian Bank''s Association and Karnataka Numismatic Society is organising the exhibition at the Hebbar Srivaishnava Sabha near Anand Rao Circle and will be inaugurated by R V Shastri, CMD Canara Bank. Devaki Muthukrishnan, regional director RBI will release a special issue of `Nanya Varthe''. The exhibition will be on from 10 am to 6 pm from January 23 to 25.
